  These two small programs contain a selection of verse by the poets
  Thomas Hardy and William Blake. Simply choose a poet and enter his
  surname at the DOS prompt, or at a suitable place in your autoexec
  file. Each time the program runs, the screen is cleared and a poem
  is chosen at random and then displayed.

  The poems are stored in each program in a compressed form, and are
  expanded as they are displayed. To display a poem without the name
  and copyright of the program being shown, simply enter anything as
  a command tail. For example:
